Verdict

Some useful handicappers face the starter in this Listed race. Earlofthecotswold did well last season but this could be on the short side on his return. Mohaayed is a former Cheltenham Festival winner but Azzuri looks his stable’s first string. Definitelyanoscar was first past the post at Newton Abbot last month but lost the race in the stewards’ room. See The Sea found only one too good when on a four-timer at Stratford but she faces a battle for the lead in this. SCARLET DRAGON has only won once over hurdles so far but has been lightly raced. Fit from the Flat, his turn of foot could be decisive around the sharp track. Gumball also has plenty of ability so can’t be ignored.
