        Verdict

        Many of these have already met at some stage of the Carnival. Joshua Tree looked badly in need of the run in the race won by Songcraft three weeks ago and is much better than he showed that day though he has something to find with ALKIMOS, who will be better suited by this shorter trip and gets the vote. Disa Leader, a Group 1 winner in Mauritius, is gradually finding his feet and ran well behind Capponi here a week ago when Sarrsar was behind. Ottoman Empire has returned from a long break in good form and should get into the mix judged on his run behind Spring Of Fame three weeks ago and Jardim showed that his turn isn't far off with a good effort behind Jamr last week. Emerald Wilderness was never travelling on his first start here but that will have put him straight and much better is expected.
