        Verdict

        Medicean Man beat several of these when scoring over track and trip a fortnight ago. Sir Maximilian and Harry Hurricane dead-heated for second and Line Of Reason wasn’t that far behind but a chance is taken on sixth-placed MALJAA. He was having his first start since August on that occasion and Jim Crowley prefers him to stablemate Fityaan. The latter had earlier finished fifth in something of a heap with Polybius, Speed Hawk and Sole Power over 6f here but Caspian Prince has decent claims on his recent third over course and distance. The progressive Magnus Maximus won three times last year but has not raced since September when winning over a longer trip at Ascot.
