          Verdict

          Gervais has been racing over shorter and was staying on strongly over 7f here a fortnight ago. Dirilis Ertugrul was also running on well into third but Mazeed had every chance and could only stay on at one pace. Torno Subito was having his tenth start when slamming his rivals in a Jebel Ali maiden while One Vision, a winner at Newcastle for Godolphin in January last year, bounced back to form at Jebel Ali and a 5lb rise shouldn't prevent another big run. Imprison dropped back to 6f to score easily at Jebel Ali but a 7lb rise makes this tougher. Plenty of the remainder arrive in reasonable shape but the vote goes to the consistent TAFAAKHOR, who had Arroway just behind when placed at Jebel Ali three weeks ago.
