        Verdict

        Commanding won the trial for this where he stayed on strongly to catch Al Modayar, who had beaten him a neck earlier, close home. Spirit Of Light appeared to have had every chance in fourth with Nocentsinkentucky over 2l back in fifth and Jukebox King in sixth. Liam's Legend, fifth over 6f at Churchill Downs, then scored over 1m1f at Keeneland and cost new owners $325,000. He's expected to make his presence felt but the vote goes to LASER SHOW. The Godolphin colt was a long way behind Commanding on his debut here but put maters right a fortnight ago when leading 3f out and shooting clear for a comfortable victory. Emblem Storm came here for his debut last month and came with a long run to brush aside the opposition so has to be on the shortlist with progress expected.
