This is virtually a re-run on the Group 3 Dubawi Stakes run over the track and trip three weeks ago. Muarrab, who was beaten a neck in this last year, was always in the front two and though taking the lead a furlong out couldn't cope with the late thrust of COMICAS, who was a worthy winner. The veteran Reynaldothewizard had been ridden along throughout and never looked like getting there but finished with a real flourish and passed My Catch for third close home. The winner is penalised 2lb but it will be a surprise if anything can reverse the form. Scrutineer doesn't look up to this class despite an easy victory here on Saturday though should prove best of the remainder.
