        In depth

        Verdict

        Most of these are course winners including Doug Watson‘s Al Qaqaa, who made a winning reappearance last November so obviously goes well fresh. Aeonian has never raced on Dirt but ran in a Group 1 in March and will be better for his recent effort at Abu Dhabi. His stablemate QAREEB made a winning start for the yard under today‘s rider last month and a 6lb rise does not look excessive. He just about holds third-placed Legend Of Cannes on that run while Alhzeem has won a couple of minor handicaps and ran quite well when stepped up in grade here a fortnight ago. Made In Dubai has also stepped up in class from last season and won nicely last month.
