          Verdict

          Frankie Dettori prefers SHIMRAAN over the four-times Group 1 winner Campanologist which suggests the latter will need this after a break since finishing a close fifth in the Hong Kong Vase. The former was badly in at the weights when making his debut on the track behind today's rival Zanzamar and with that under his belt looks ready to return to winning ways. Godolphin are also represented by the in-form Songcraft, who remains unbeaten but will need to step-up again after his victory over Laajooj in a tough handicap a month ago. Cavalryman is usually to be found in Grade 1 company and ran well here a year ago while USA Grade 1 winner Unusual Suspect hasn't got his act together so far but has been racing over trips too short and could spring a surprise if back to his best. Mike De Kock has always believed Viscount Nelson. would be better over this trip so he has to be respected
