Verdict
Mike De Kock saddles the ultra-tough Warsaw but he generally needs a run to bring him to his peak and the stable hopes may rest with Clearly Silver, who hasn't quite lived up to early promise in South Africa. Sir Gerry, a Listed winner for John Best at Salisbury, has enough weight but Ashram looks the type for this as he was a genuine pattern race performer last season and is fairly treated. Atlantic Brave is a specialist on dirt at Jebel Ali, while Escape Route won at the Carnival a year ago and will be fit enough following his second to the inconsistent McCartney at Abu Dhabi on Boxing Day. But IL GRANDE MAURIZIO, a one-time useful performer in Italy, caught the eye under Royston Ffrench here in November and is well enough weighted to go one better.
