        Verdict

        With Godolphin unrepresented, William Buick gets the leg up on Kafoo, unbeaten in two recent runs here under Tadhg O'Shea, who prefers Secret Ambition this time. His mount has won eleven races and was at his best when making all for a very easy victory in the Godolphin Mile on World Cup night, with Avant Garde beaten six lengths in third, so he's greatly respected. However, he was beaten by THEGREATCOLLECTION on his reappearance in a Listed contest here last season and was also behind him in a Group 1 in March won by Salute The Soldier. Doug Watson's charge finished runner-up in this a year ago and blew away the cobwebs with an eye-catching run last month so is taken to go one better. Both Salute The Soldier and Hypothetical improved massively last season though both could just need this.
