      Verdict

      Heavy Metal won this by almost 10l a year ago when long odds-on but was beaten by KIMBEAR at the same level three weeks later. He reappeared with a very poor effort though that wasn't his form and he's certain to make his presence felt. The selection was well beaten by Heavy Metal and Muntazah in the Godolphin Mile but wasn't at his best and he should be spot-on for this after running well behind the two best performers at this year's Carnival so far, Drafted and North America. Secret Ambition has won eight races but is generally beaten at this level
