In depth

Verdict

Plenty of these arrive in good form including Captain Rio, who won at Sharjah a couple of weeks ago. LORD TIGER was having his first-ever start over 6f when comfortably accounting for Rutland Boy here last month and can follow-up despite a 6lb rise in the weights. Hajjaan, a winner for John Dunlop in 2010, scored at Jebel Ali last March and looked in need of the run there when returning in December. He's on the short-list as is Wadi Wanderer, who wasn't far behind Lord Tiger here before scoring at Jebel Ali. Garbah was just touched off by Kingdom Beauty here in November and the latter is another who finished behind Lord Tiger last month. Iguazu Falls beat Krypton Factor over a mile on turf last month but has never won over this trip.
