In depth

Verdict

LIGHT THE LIGHTS, who won a Listed contest here a year ago and was placed at Group 2 level, looked in need of last week's comeback and can take this for Mike De Kock. Godolphin have a trio of entries and Team Talk won a Listed contest when last seen though that was in November 2016 on Polytrack at Lingfield. His stable companion Leshlaa won a Listed contest in Turkey in September though probably didn't have much to beat but Blair House looks the main hope as he only just failed to land the Royal Hunt Cup before disappointing on softer going. Yorkshire raiders Born To Be Alive and Another Touch should be earning some decent prize money over the next few weeks and the latter looks well handicapped on the same mark as when landing a Pontefract Listed contest in July.
