        Verdict

        France took this last year and look to hold all the aces again with CLADOCERA (NAP). Twice a winner in her native country, she came here for the Cape Verdi last month and had little trouble holding off Zurigha and Anahita. That was only her sixth career start and with much more to come she looks capable of taking this before progressing to the highest level. Victoria Regina, Energia Fribby, Slipper Orchid and Oh Star all followed behind in that order and it's difficult to see any of them reversing the form and the Turkey-based Suzi Gold doesn't look quite good enough.
