        Verdict

        Dubai champion jockey Wayne Smith would have had the choice of his retaining stable's three entries and has plumped for Maath Gool, who looked promising when last seen here over a year ago. Stablemate Grand Duchy is fit enough after a good effort behind Sand Stamp at the opening Carnival fixture while Rutland Boy is another with no fitness concerns after a fine debut over a trip much too short here a fortnight ago. He looks a threat to all but his stable companion ENJOY TODAY gets the vote as he's the pick of Royston Ffrench, who was on board when the son of Kingmambo made a winning debut on the track on New Year's Eve. Daboos and Kessraa have been in good form at Jebel Ali and hail from yards going well.
