        Verdict

        Thegreatcollection was in excellent form at the backend of last season completing a double in slightly better company. He also finished runner-up in two carnival handicaps so looks certain to go well. His stable companion Canvassed looks a fine acquisition to the yard having won at Newcastle and Kempton for Roger Varian before finding fast going against him in an Ascot Listed contest. Rodaini had a short-head to spare over Bochart over 7f here in December and should have no problems confirming the form on these terms while Military Law landed a Class 2 handicap at Newcastle for John Gosden in June. MARK OF APPROVAL (NAP), another winner for the Gosden yard, looked beaten when dropping back off a blistering pace here last month but kept battling and got up close home. That was his first start for over a year and he's taken to follow up.
