Verdict
El Baareq ran well on his only start here in January and made all for a comfortable victory at Jebel Ali earlier this month so should take some catching. However, MUTARAFFA is better class and made a successful return to action in a Listed contest in January so should have his measure. Vasari isn't the most consistent but has won here and at Jebel Ali while Wild Majesty, a Listed winner in France, should have benefited from a summer with Doug Watson after a debut run for the yard in Group 2 company in February. Meshakel, last year's UAE 2000 Guineas runner-up, was beaten a long way on his reappearance after a very long break and may need another run.
