WASHAAR is an excellent acquisition for Doug Watson as he won three out of five for Richard Hannon last year including two at Listed level. This will be his first start since last September but his yard has struck form and he should be fit enough to make a successful debut. Not A Given has yet to win since arriving from the USA but he's run well enough here and at Jebel Ali to be considered. Marching Time is still a maiden on artificial surfaces but his turn isn't far off judging by his two most recent runs on this track but Journeyman could prove the main threat as Mike De Kock's colt was thought good enough to contest a Group 3 here in February and is making his handicap debut. Atlantic Brave has won six races on Dirt, all of them at Jebel Ali.
