    Verdict

Gerard Butler is a rare visitor here so the claims of recent Lingfield winner Prince Apollo have to be taken seriously, despite a 6lb rise in the weights. Snow Bay comes here off the back of a successful couple of months at Cagnes-sur-Mer while Mark Johnston clearly thinks Guest Book is capable of winning more races, though he is 3lb higher than when runner-up to Pintura at Epsom in October. Elijah Pepper has been expensive to follow on the all-weather this spring and isn't as well handicapped on turf so the vote goes to DANDEREK. He still looked as though in need of the run when third at Wolverhampton in February and is probably fairly handicapped on his form on turf last season.
