      Verdict

      David Barron won the inaugural running of this in 2009 and his Anahorish is preferred to Copacobana. Richard Fahey won the three renewals after that which makes Sadie Babes worth noting in the betting while Mark Johnston sent out last year's winner and runs the 140,000 euros colt Furiant. But a new name could be added to the winning trainers list this time as David O'Meara's HALSALL already has form in the book with a decent second at Beverley so gets the nod.
