      Verdict

      Old Tax Free is remarkably well handicapped given that he won a York handicap in August from a 7lb higher mark though he hasn't shown much sparkle this season. Rothesay Chancer won here on soft ground in October and is certain to come in for support but may find the going a bit quick and BOSUN BREESE is handed the vote. David Barron's charge was in cracking form around this time a year ago winning four times and, as he's now 1lb lower than the last of those victories, he can return to winning ways. Liberty Island likes the track but is looking a few pounds high and hasn't run since September.
