Verdict

It was disappointing to see NO LIPPY fall out of contention in a hot Listed contest for fillies at the Dante meeting, although she was still only beaten under 4l into ninth place. However, it's her previous run which represents the stand-out form in this contest when the daughter of Oasis Dream showed real pace to land the prestigious Lily Agnes Stakes at Chester. A repeat of that impressive level should prove good enough for her to make it three out of four here. Mayson Mac remains of interest but is yet to prove himself on quicker ground and Red Balloons may pose a greater threat after a satisfactory debut at Thirsk along with Aloysius Lilius, undoubtedly on the upgrade too. Happy Harmony is an interesting newcomer for the raiding Hannon team in receipt of all the allowances.
