      Verdict

      Excessable returns for another crack having failed to win since landing last year’s renewal off today’s mark. But he finished well behind Jabbarockie when the latter was beaten only a head at York last time and Eric Alston’s charge should go close again. Saaheq won over track and trip in April but still looks a shade high in the weights and a chance is taken on LAHORE ending a long losing run. The latter ran his best race since joining Phillip Makin when beaten a length at Redcar recently and a bold bid is expected off his current mark. War Whisper is creeping closer as he slips down the weights and a similar comment also applies to Primo's Comet.
