Verdict

HAWATIF is useful on her day as a convincing success at Glorious Goodwood amply demonstrated, although she was never competitive last time in a hot York handicap. However, it is always worth forgiving Johnston runners a low-key performance and she should go very well here if producing her best. Trip, ground and track should all suit the Royal Applause filly. Invoke is a dual course and distance winner but may need to come down a few pounds in the weights and Florenza could emerge as the leading threat after a career-best effort at York last time as the move up to a seventh furlong seemed to suit very well. Rose Marmara is a consistent filly but is hard to assess as she tackles this trip for the first time. She'll be competitive if her stamina holds out.
