In depth

Verdict

Coup De Pinceau was mainly contesting hunter chases in the spring but did finish well ahead of recent Stratford winner Flying Verse at Cartmel before being disqualified on a technicality. Court Dreaming justified market support at Carlisle last month but Stylish Moment wasn’t far behind and is a pound better off. Wake Up Early won at Fakenham and Market Rasen earlier this year but RAPID RAIDER has the more recent form and his rider’s 5lb claim counters the fact that’s he’s 3lb out of the handicap.
