Verdict

Keeper Hill won Grade 2 chase at Doncaster in December but is penalised 10lb for his trouble. Barney Dwan made the most of favourable terms to beat only two rivals at Market Rasen last time but PETER THE MAYO MAN was making his chasing debut when successful at Doncaster and beating an odds-on favourite six lengths. There looks plenty more to come from him over fences and Paul Nicholls won this last year with the useful Frodon. Alzammaar and Martiloo have it all to do at the weights and both of the former’s rivals fell when winning at Catterick leaving him to come home alone.
