      Verdict

      AMADEUS is having a first run on Turf but was placed on Polytrack before hosing up on Fibresand so seems versatile regards surface. He’s 10lb higher now but is still getting weight from the Mark Johnston pair Poetic Steps and Birdette. The latter looks the pick of those two on jockey bookings and is also preferred to Lever Du Soleil and Pretty Moi.
