Verdict

Eternalist is one of four previous course and distance winners in this line-up but her latest run here suggests she is in the handicapper’s grip for the time being. Arnold did well to defy a high draw at Beverley but he’s got the worst of the draw again and the cheekpieces will need to work a second time. Pea Shooter runs in the lowly grade for the first time and has shown enough this season to suggest he’ll be a threat to all but DUNDUNAH won off a higher mark at Haydock last year and has been showing signs of a revival lately. With Conor McGovern good value for his 5lb claim, he looks the one to be on.
