Verdict
European Dream gets the call ahead of Zabeel House and Direct Debit. European Dream scooted to victory at Newcastle last time and a six-pounds rise might not be enough to stop him from winning again. Crime Scene's Newcastle maiden win has yet to work out so his rating cannot be said to lenient. Zabeel House is rated a nice prospect by his handler and certainly has scope for improvement this year, and indeed in stepping back from the 10 furlongs of his seasonal return. Direct Debit's Sandown third last time earns him respect, particularly as he is set to rise by two pounds in future ratings, and King Of The Moors is entitled to respect following his beating of Hams here, although, once again, the handicapper has hardly been lenient. Creative Mind was found out at Listed level last time but he must surely be well-regarded to have been contesting such a race, while Cape Gold needs to improve, we feel, to play a winning part today. All of which returns us to the selection, which is European Dream.
