Verdict
HELOVAPLAN won twice on decent ground around this time last year. He didn’t end the campaign as strongly but a break may have recharged the batteries and he’s not been over-raced. Trading Point has also been lightly-raced and won as he liked on his reappearance and first run for David O’Meara at Beverley. Still potentially well treated under a penalty, he might take some catching if getting to the front but has been hampered by a wide draw. Royal Regent usually runs his race while Al Ozzdi gets a weight-for-age allowance and has been gelded since last season.
