In depth

Verdict

Legendary Day made a winning start for new connections on his hurdling debut at Sedgefield but Brian Hughes, who rode him that day, has switched to last month’s easy course and distance winner GENERAL OFFICER, who can complete the double. Aidan Coleman is a significant jockey booking for hurdling debutant Rhodia, who was progressive in bumpers, and Scottish Wind still has a bit of scope while Lenebane showed promise in Ireland when trained by Roos O’Sullivan.
