Verdict
Winning point-to-pointer A Distant Place continues to make strong progress and was always travelling like a winner over the trip at Hereford. Winning bumper THUNDER ROCK put a promising hurdles debut to good use when scoring with plenty in hand over the trip at Wetherby and looks the one to beat. Garde Des Champs had been racing in points and bumpers before a very fair hurdling debut at Kilbeggan and has changed stables but the remainder look as though they are playing for a place.
