Verdict

The betting should help to indicate all-important fitness levels for these hunters but if PENA DORADA is in the same sort of form as last summer when with the Whillans team, he'd give a good account. He landed a couple of staying handicaps before running a fine second in a competitive handicap chase behind Dreamsoftheatre and it's good to see his pilot retaining the ride for new connections. Probably George landed a Cartmel handicap chase last spring whilst the likes of Nowurhurlin and Railway Dillon are now regulars in the northern hunter chase arena. Both still merit respect along with Nearest The Pin and No Loose Change, former staying handicappers who would be worth considering carefully if the market speaks in their favour.
