What A Steel was pulled up on soft ground at Kelso last month while Jack Albert was tailed off in two starts after winning at Kelso in June. But Arctic Court hinted at a revival when fifth to Maraweh here last month and is now 3lb better off with the winner. Fellow veteran Solway Sam is consistent but needs further help from the handicapper. PERENNIAL failed to oblige dropped into a seller at Fakenham but stayed 2m on the Flat so maybe the extra yardage will help him open his account over timber. One For Hocky can't be ruled out in this grade and Roc De Prince would also have claims if on a going day.
