Verdict

The bottom three are out of the handicap and Kilquiggan has done nothing to earn top weight on his handicap debut. Snapping Turtle scored over 2m4f at Newcastle a year ago though he's yet to prove he stays this far while Vision De La Vie was beaten a distance when last seen at Uttoxeter in May. Discoverie has had 20 starts under National Hunt rules and though placed seven times he's failed to win. He's not badly treated on his best form but in a very poor contest it's RAIFTEIRI who looks the one to be on providing the ground doesn't ease. He scored over 2m6f at Carlisle in August and very nearly defied a 9lb rise on his next start and has been dropped 5lb since his latest outing.
