        Verdict

        Ellaal was raised 6lb for winning over course and distance last month but is still fancied to confirm that running with second Silver Duke and fourth Ingleby Spring. Surewecan ended a long losing run over 7f here just over two weeks ago but third OPT OUT (NAP) was closing at the finish and was beaten under a length. On 3lb better and with that run under his belt, Alistair Whillans' gelding can reverse the form and return to winning ways today. Sakhalin Star disappointed when favourite at Doncaster last time and Gone With The Wind and Let Right Be Done both step up a grade for this.
