        Verdict

        Bolshoi Ballet can oblige at the expense of Ostfanni, Senor Set and Transit in the opening race on the card at the Scottish track. With the Richard Fahey stable still in good form, hopes are high that Bolshoi Ballet can build on his recent form to get back to winning ways. The eight-year-old has been improving with each outing this term, and although well held by Ostfanni in an amateur riders' event over the course-and-distance six days ago, he is now 9lb better off with that rival, and of course will have the assistance of Paul Hanagan. In addition, Transit, who was third in the aforementioned race, meets the selection on slightly worse terms, while Rouge Et Noir was well beaten. All that suggests that Bolshoi Ballet is the percentage call. Senor Set was not disgraced in a class 5 at Newmarket, finishing fourth to Haatmey, and will be more at home back in this company so rates a danger, but our vote goes to Bolshoi Ballet.
