In depth
Verdict
Patavium gets the confident vote to win this contest with Startori and The Osteopath rating the main dangers. The selection was well beaten in a better race behind Misoula last time out although not beaten that far. This looks easier and he need only run up to that mark to score. Startori rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Speciosa but he gave the impression he would be suited by a longer trip on that occasion and for that reason he is opposed. The Osteopath is another worthy of respect but he has had plenty of chances without winning and he may do better in handicaps. Royal Crusty showed a modicum of ability on her debut and is sure to improve so should be noted in the market. Of the reminder Little Miss Daisy has place claims on her best form but has been done no favours by the draw and for the winner we return to Patavium who sets a fair standard.
