Verdict

William Haggas' stable can do little wrong at present but Soundstrings had to be hard ridden to beat Al Hawraa in a modest maiden at Catterick and tackles a mile for the first time today. At the likely odds, we prefer LINCOLN ROCKS who beat Al Hawraa more easily at Beverley in June and has since scored over this trip on similar going at Haydock and Hamilton. Quick N Quirky was biting off more than she could chew last time at York but is a winner here over 7f and consistent overall. She's preferred to top weight Marsh Pride and Keith Dalgleish's pair Forever A Lady and Flinty Fell.
