Green Lightning is well treated on his best form but has shown little this year. La Bacouetteuse, on the other hand, looks a reformed character and will make a bold bid to complete his hat-trick with Hanagan in the plate. Daryl Byrne's claim will help Sennockian Storm but the interesting one in this finale is STAGS LEAP. Alistair Whillans' four-year-old ran well for a long way in a much better race here nine days ago and this slightly shorter trip is probably in his favour. The others probably need to improve on recent efforts to take a hand in the finish.
