Verdict
A large field here for this novice hurdle but only a few look to have a chance and the TEAMtalk selection is Beat The Heat. The gelding from the Jedd O'Keeffe yard was a good second behind Inn Antique last time out at Sedgefield and if he reproduces that form he will be very hard to beat. Magic Route rates the main danger he was a fair second behind Argento last time out and is sure to improve. Konfuzius showed a modicum of ability when finishing in mid-division on his debut behind Midnight Creek, he is sure to have come on for the run but he may do better when he is handicapped. Sky To Sea won over one mile and two furlongs on the flat and a market move for this Irish raider could be significant. Altay is also a flat winner but his best form has come with slightly more cut in the ground. Brown Teddy showed improved form behind The Nomad last time out when fourth but he is bred to come into his own when switched to fences over a much longer trip.
