In depth

Verdict

PULL GREEN was beaten under a penalty at Catterick on New Year’s Day having won at that track in November but this offers a good opportunity for Donald McCain’s five-year-old to recoup losses with the longer trip likely to suit. Glorious Lady has a double penalty having won at Bangor and Kelso already this season but her stamina is proven and she was a fair fourth in a Listed race last time. Her yard also run an interesting newcomer in Oscar Clouds, who is a brother to Grade 1-winning hurdler The Tullow Tank and a half-brother to top-class chaser Many Clouds. Doyen Breed has won a bumper while Liar’s Dice is preferred to stablemate Monte Alban of the others.
