    Verdict

The most likely winner here looks to be FAIRY SHOES, though she will be short enough and it may also pay to give consideration to a couple of others in Interest Free and Mrs Mogg. Tom Dascombe saddles the last-named, who was tried over 7f at Chester last time. The drop back to 5f is an interesting manouevre by the trainer, and this better ground should suit, so check out the market for clues. Interest Free hails from a stable going well enough and this Kyllachy colt should act on the going and have plenty of speed. A recent Ripon spin will have put her straight and she could go very close today. Tai Hang showed very little at two, but pedigree suggests that she may fare better this season, and she is another for whom a market check is on the agenda, but we will stick with Fairy Shoes. Another Kyllachy filly, Richard Fahey's charge is also dropped to the minimum trip after disappointing at Kempton on the Polytrack when favourite. Her previous outing had marked her out as one to keep on the right side of, however, and we will forgive this inexperienced performer and give her chance to make amends.
