Verdict

We will shortlist World Vision, Magnificent Seven and Gangsters R Us and side with World Vision. World Vision is now back to just a pound above a winning mark for a two-and-a-half-mile win here, and he's won over this far. Snowy is at the top end of his achievements ratings-wise, but can't entirely be ruled out. Magnificent Seven improved to take a Market Rasen handicap last time and, lightly raced, should have more to come, although he'll need to improve again to win. Gangsters R Us is back to the mark he won from over course and distance in February 2004, so can be given a chance on that basis, while Place Above is at least dropping to a more reasonable mark now, but She's My Girl has a bit to prove. Pessimistic Dick is down in the ratings but has not won for over two years and Ideal du Bois Beury has not won for even longer, although he has been knocking at the door of late. Finally, Gallions Reach's win came in a Hereford seller but he races from out of the weights. All of which returns us to the selection, which is World Vision.
