Verdict

Bridal March was expected to finish closer at Beverley last time having been beaten only a length on the all-weather before that. She still has leading claims but a chance is taken that COPPER BAKED can improve on her recent debut effort at Newmarket over this extra distance and Karl Burke’s filly gets the nod. Bongrace has yet to threaten but is still preferred to Pepys while Showtime Lady is a half-sister to Champion Hurdle winner Sublimity but stablemate Bridal March looks her trainer’s first choice.
