In depth

Verdict

Another tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Bodfari Signet, Beauchamp Gigi and Tobesure and the narrow vote is given to Bodfari Signet. The selection showed improved form when stepped back up to this trip when second behind Tickateal, he runs off the same mark here and under conditions that suit he is taken to score. Beauchamp Gigi rates the main danger on her best form but she was disappointing for no apparent reason last time out so can not be put forward with any confidence. Tobesure is another that could go well on his latest third behind River Mist but he often finds less than expected off the bridle and for that reason is passed over on this occasion. Speed Kris is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he continues to rise in the weights without winning and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Cha Cha Cha Dancer is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but her overall profile leaves her with a little to find and for the winner we return to Bodfari Signet.
