Tom George has an impressive strike rate with the few runners he saddles here and DEFINITELY BETTER (NAP) is the first of three from his yard today. She won off a 4lb higher mark at Southwell in 2014 and has shown enough lately to suggest she can play a part in a race like this. Nafaath and Almost Gemini are the only two to have won this season. The latter may be the better handicapped of the pair and should be thereabouts. Towerburn is quite lightly raced compared to some and could be interesting making his handicap debut but Dr Beaujolais is best watched in his first start for almost a year.
