Verdict
This looks a very competitive affair with most having some sort of chance. Avidity is useful but hasn’t raced since May and is likely to be back over fences sooner rather than later. Caius Marcius has yet to finish out of the first three so goes on the short-list while Eyes Of A Tiger wasn’t beaten far over track and trip on New Year’s Day, despite only finishing fifth. Jonny Delta is tough but Mister Kit may be in the handicapper’s grip at present. Stamp Your Feet is only 3lb higher than when getting of the mark at Hereford but we also like the way the four-year-old PROJECT BLUEBOOK is progressing and, already a winner here, he gets a tentative vote.
