In depth

Verdict

SWEET AUBURN wasn’t beaten far when third under a penalty at Hereford. The return to soft ground will suit Donald McCain’s charge having won at Sedgefield earlier and she gets another chance. Snow Joeking may improve for this longer trip while stablemate Scottish Wind is related to several winners on the Flat. Harel Du Marais fell in a point-to-point last year and debuts under Rules but Neigh Botha is a half-brother to a bumper winner. Grady Gaston was a non-runner at Kelso on Friday.
