Verdict
A wide-open handicap which should be run at a good gallop as there are several lining up who like to force the pace. Alpha Cru, Simple Star and War Defender are among those who like to be prominent. Hayadh slips further down the ratings but Mi Capricho will be paying the price for last year’s exploits for a while, though will have found 7f too sharp here last month. Tilsitt looks in good form and Vindobala has a talented 5lb claimer on board but the assessor has given a chance to course and distance winner TOMMY G, who was badly hampered when just behind Alpine Sierra at Ayr last time and goes well for Paul Mulrennan.
